The SuperGrades!™ Story
Danny Brundage has spent many years developing learning programs that help people to learn new skills. His company, Clarity Learning Solutions, develops computer-based courses that have been used by thousands of people in companies and government agencies.
In 2003, Danny learned that his niece in middle school was having a difficult time adjusting to her new environment. Her grades were suffering and she was frustrated. This was a challenge close to home.
Danny quickly identified the problem. His niece had never learned the basic "how to" skills - how to study and how to learn. When she encountered the more demanding environment of middle school, she did not have the essential tools she needed to succeed.
Danny searched for an existing program that would develop these skills. He was surprised and disappointed to discover that the middle-school age population was seriously underserved in the learning skills category, and what did exist was either too broad, ineffective or very expensive.
He knew that he could apply the computer-based learning techniques he had used in businesses to help solve this problem. He organized a team made up of people from academia, middle school teachers and counselors, instructional designers and computer animators to develop a program that could give students these essential skills. In February 2007, the Clarity team unveiled SuperGrades!™ - The Power Secrets of Learning™.
SuperGrades!™ optimizes results by combining instruction, practice and real world classroom experiences to change the way a student studies and learns. SuperGrades!™ comes in a small package that produces a big impact on the way students perform in school. The proof is in the report card!
